In the kinetic installation Horizon, which will be on display at the Museum Schloss Moyland in Germany until the end of 2025, a sunset over the sea is simulated in a vaulted corridor painted in deep matte black. Due to the intense darkness, the visitor is unable to perceive distances and proportions. A pinspot at the end of the tunnel illuminates the sun, and below it, strips of foil are stretched, set in motion by fans. The foil reflects the surrounding light, creating a fake sunset effect.
